Sheikh started his acting career with Prince Ajay Singh’s role in the television series Hum Log in 1984, and he played Vicky (Sonu)’s role in his first film Rama O Rama in 1988. Aasif is also popular for Suraj Singh’s role in the movie Karan Arjun in 1995, and he also starred as Vinod Verma in the television series Yes Boss from 1999 to 2009.
He studied at Saint Anthony’s School, and He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Honours. Aasif also attended Khalsa College, Delhi, for a Hotel Management degree. He got married to Zeba Sheikh in 1989, and they have two children Maryam Sheikh and Alyjah Sheikh.
